Does Zoloft kill your sex drive and is it worth taking for PMDD

The first thing u need to do is figure out why ur sex drive is low & try to help get it back. I was in ur situation & it is not fun without being horny & feeling in the mood when needed. I also felt like my orgasms (if I would even get one) were really weak. Probably because of my sex drive.

it never affected my sex drive. however do not take the generic, its not the same. the generic has issues with its time release and does not release properly and will really mess you up. i tried it for not even a whole month and had to stop and go back to zoloft. it made feel dizzy all the time

Are you on birth control? Talk to your doctor about switching or starting Yaz (bc) as it helps with PMDD. Antidepressant can affect your sex drive.

It did effect my sex drive a bit. I found that it took longer for me to get in the mood. It also took longer to orgasm. It was like I was on the brink and couldn't. Taking Zoloft and relieving the horrible symptoms of PPMD was worth it to me though. I took 100mg and tapered down to 50 after a few years. I am off it now and occasionally feel the PPMD coming back stronger than when I was on the medication. I am considering going back on it.
