i've been on this medication for almost a month now.. and have not felt any different.. every once in while the side effects of it comes then goes away in a day or two and come back like the next week.. is this normal?.. should l wait and see if it really works for me or go back to the doctor?
Zoloft 50 mgs helped me within a few days tremendous difference and by 3 weeks I was more than impressed with how much better I felt. I have not increased the dose I have been on it 4 months and I think it is for me a miracle drug,
It takes time. You should have a follow-up visit with ur doctor so he/she can check on ur progress. For me, everything was so gradual that I did not even notice the side effects like u do (coming & going) or that I was being helped. I was on the lowest dose so the doc said to be patient. But it worked. Eventually I noticed I was feeling less & less depressed, then one day I noticed I was happy. :)
It was a very subtle & slow process for me, but successful.
If u have doubts, please see ur doctor & ask any questions u may have - that is what they're there for & u should not be left alone to deal with medications like this.
