How likely are you to die from an overdose of Zoloft and Trazodone

I am certainly not qualified to provide any counceling or advice, but u clearly need help. If u wo not seek professional help, then at least find a friend to talk to. In case u refuse to do that, I will give u my advice. I will spare u traditional comments like, ''life is precious ''suicide is permanent ''suicide is not the answer''.even though these statements r all true.

Here is what I think. Suicide is one of the cruelest things u can do to the people who love you. If that is not enough to stop you, then u clearly do not care about them & might even hate them. If that is the case, then why punish yourself? Why not just get up & leave. Get together as much cash as u can & leave. Do everything you've ever wanted or fantasized about. Travel across the country (or world if you're over 18). Set up shop somewhere along a tropical beach. Everyone u meet will be a new face & will only know what u tell them about ur past. Start ur own organization helping others in need. Or start ur own company & try to make millions. There really is no risk to whatever u do (based on ur current plans).

My point is, do whatever makes u happy. If you're mad at yourself, do not be. Love who u are. If you're a disgruntled teen, then let me tell u that all of the pain u feel is felt by so many people. Most people hate Jr High & High School. But life will get better. And at some point, u will be glad u did not end the game.

I took like 18 Trazodone and I am here to talk about it.

I would not overdose though. Drinking activated charcoal and hanging out in the Trauma Cardiac unit of the ER is not exactly a holiday. And the week at the Psychiatric Treatment Center was not the best trip I've taken.

This question is eerie for me, since I was on an insufficient dosage of Zoloft, which led me to OD on Trazodone.

I suffered from major depression for over 20 years. Zoloft & trazodone was one of many drug combos I tried. It is a very typical combo that many shrinks prescribe. Zoloft can help depression, anxiety, etc., while trazodone is usually used to sleep. When used as prescribed by ur MD, it is perfectly safe & u do not have to worry about overdosing.

Most conventional antidepressants did nothing for me, except give me bad side effects. Two years ago, I found a brilliant shrink who started me on a whole new regimen of meds. One is technically a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder, & the other is an anti-psychotic for bipolar & schizophrenia. However, these drugs r now finding use for major depression.

If I can make it through 20 years of major depression, there is hope for everyone, including you. You can email me if necessary.
