How long does it take for Zoloft to get out of your body

It differs with each person, but should be out by thirty days. You should never quit on your own without your doctor gradually taking you off. If you just quit taking it all of a sudden it can have bad effects. Good Luck!!

The F.D.A. is still investigating the issue.

i WAS TOLD NOT TO COMPLETELY QUIT AT ONCE, GO OFF SLOWLY AS YOU SHOULD HAVE WENT ON .THEN USUALLY AROUND 5 DAYS AFTER CUTTING BACK TO NONE. Should BE OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM BY THEN.

It has a half-life of 2 days

From what I remember from my schooling, Zoloft has a half life of about one day. That means, the medicine in your system will reduce by 50% each day. The first day you are off it, it will remain in your system, the second day -- there is only 50% there. the third day, 25% is still in you. the fourth day 12.5% and so on. I am not a doctor, but I remember going over medications in depth in graduate school.

Most of the drug will be out. of your system 6 days after stopping Zoloft.

100 mg?!..Thats quite a bit!
Will take about 5 to 6 days to clear out of system.

I do not know takes 2 weeks to start working so..2 weeks to 3 months probably.
